Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later she was a morning-news anchor as well as crime reporter for WCBD TV. The work of O'Dell on the streets of Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases resulted in an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the DUI incidents. Ms. O'Dell won the Best Report of the Media Award in South Carolina by the Associated Press. In the years following her stint in Charleston O'Dell served as co-anchor and investigative reporter for NBC's Miami station WTVJ-TV prior to her move to Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor as well as a weekday correspondent. Additionally, she is a co-anchor on Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She's been a reporter for The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted numerous pre-show arrivals show for The Emmys And The Golden Globes.
